A. Bruckner Symphony No. 3, D minor

Hahn's probing interpretations, technical brilliance, and commitment to new music and the commissioning process have not only made her one of the most sought-after artists of our time, but also brought her love of classical music to a diverse audience. At age 32, her international fame and recognition, including two Grammies, multiple “Diapason d'Or of the Yea” and Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik, are a testament to her talent and drive. Ranked among the best European orchestras today, Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Paavo Järvi, one of the most successful conductors on the international music scene, who has been the Musical Director and Chief Conductor of the orchestra since 2006. More than 80 years after its formation, Germany’s third oldest radio orchestra plays convincingly in all styles and periods – from Baroque to contemporary avant-garde – which is certainly due to the ensemble’s flexibility, open-mindedness and high qualification.
